Fundraising

In order to realise the dream of re-building Birk Crag Centre lots of people have already helped to raise funds and many people continue fundraising – thank you to everyone.

We have raised an amazing amount for the re-building and this is largely due to the fantastic efforts of members of the County, together with generous donations from individuals, Trusts, Funds and Foundations, legacies from members and supporters, past and present, plus many others. We are very grateful to all our supporters, for their donations of funds, materials and in kind and thank them most sincerely.

There are many ways in which we have and continue to raise the remaining funds which can be summarised as:

County run fundraising events such as concerts, ceilidh, coffee days, lunches, afternoon teas, evening events, online and virtual activities, talks and much more!

Community groups and local businesses
Trust and Fund applications
Friends of Birk Crag
Individual members fundraising events
County-wide Raffle
Merchandise sales
Challenge badges
Virtual events
Fairs and Sales
Cable drum sponsored walk

We will keep this page updated with all the different ways you can support us to raise these funds and we will always be grateful for any funds you may have raised or feel able to give to our project.

Thank you.
